Old Rag in the Fall
October 28, 2007 - Marine Core Marathon
26.2 miles through Washington DC. Highlights this year
were a longish hill up MacArthur Blvd;
seeing the finish line but having to run past it 1/2 mile and
then turning around to finally get there; and a steep hill up
to the final finish line!
My time was 4:33:05, which is my second best time of my 8 consecutive
Marine Core Marathons.
October 14, 2007 - Bucks County Covered Bridge Ride
50 miles and 5 covered bridges in Bucks County, Pennsylvania.
It was beautiful! Then a trip up to the Delaware Water Gap! Definitely
recommend the well-supported ride for next year.
Bucks County Bike Club
September 8 - Civil War Century in Thurmont, Maryland
104 mile bike ride. Hilly, fun and a few mountain climbs!
July 8 - Blackwater Traverse Duathlon in Cambridge, Maryland
7.2 mile run, 41 mile bike ride and 4.78 mile run.
May - Adirondacks & Vermont
Did some nice bike rides, but hike was rained out. This picture is from an elk farm on a bike ride.
California National Parks Trip
Traveled to Las Vegas, Death Valley National Park, Red Rock Canyon State Park, Joshua Tree National Park,
Mohave National Preserve, Red Rock Canyon National Preservation Area and the largest land mass in Las Vegas - Mandalay Bay (for dinner).

Total Time was 4:39. It was extremely hot with no shade, 95+ degrees!
